Pour Point Depressant PPD

A Pour Point Depressant (PPD) is an additive used in petroleum products, particularly in lubricating oils and diesel fuels, to lower their pour point. The pour point of a liquid is the lowest temperature at which it can still flow. Below this temperature, the liquid may become too viscous and solidify, causing difficulties in pumping, flowing, and starting engines, especially in cold weather conditions.
